Congratulations to the MLA for receiving the Alexandria Women for Good donation for the second quarter of 2026!
The Alexandria Women for Good (WFG), is a local membership organization that donates their dues in the form of a grant each quarter to an Alexandria-based non-profit voted on by the members.
The MLA was nominated and received a donation of $14,822.00. The MLA thanks the Alexandria Women for Good organization and their members for the recent donation to the Miracle League of Alexandria.
MLA board members, Laura Fries (Vice Chair) and Danielle Callen (board member), pictured below gave an inspiring 5-minute presentation about who the MLA is, what we do, and what the grant would go towards. Pictured in the article is Laura and Danielle being presented with the donated check. The donation will be used to assist in providing sensory materials for sensory rooms, teachers, and recreation staff as part of the MLA’s Community Outreach Program.
